HIMMA Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center (PMRC) is a specialized provider of pediatric rehabilitation services, located in Dubai’s Shorooq Community in Mirdif. Guided by its unique “Heart-Shaped Therapy” approach, HIMMA combines clinical expertise with compassion to support children and their families on every step of their journey.

At HIMMA PMRC,
care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of licensed specialists, bringing together speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), clinical and educational psychology, special education, and in-home therapy services ,all under one roof. HIMMA PMRC offers a free initial consultation to assess the child’s needs and gather relevant background information, including medical history and previous interventions.

The consultation includes:

2. Clear Assessment Results: Results shared in a clear, parent-friendly format.
3. Appointment Scheduling: Reception team assists with convenient scheduling.
4. Transparent Pricing: Fair and competitive service rates.
5. HIMMA App Access: Parents receive secure login credentials to access assessment findings and recommendations on the same day.

2.HIMMA Mobile App

HIMMA Mobile App (Android, IOS) puts the parents at the heart of their child’s care, keeping them informed, engaged, and in control, through the app, parents can:

– Confirm or cancel appointments

– Access real-time session updates and track progress

– View assessment reports, treatment plans, and home programs

– Share feedback with therapists, including pictures and videos

– Receive educational posts to support family awareness and understanding.

3. Formal Assessments & Tests

Accurate, data-driven evaluations using standardized tools to understand each child’s unique strengths and areas for growth. Types of Assessments:

• Standardized Developmental Tests: Cognitive, motor, speech, and social-emotional skills.
• Observational Assessments: Real-life evaluations in home, school, and play settings.
• Psychoeducational Assessments: Conducted by licensed psychologists to identify learning or behavioural challenges impacting school performance.

4. HIMMA Awareness Program (HAP)

HIMMA Awareness Program is a free community initiative led by specialized therapists to empower caregivers, including parents, teachers, and school staff, across diverse communities. The program offers valuable resources, training workshops, and professional support to enhance knowledge and promote inclusive education. Workshops are held both at our center and directly within schools and nurseries to ensure accessibility and meaningful impact.

5.School Inclusion Support Services
HIMMA PMRC provides comprehensive inclusion support in partnership with schools across Dubai.

We deliver high-quality services that promote student participation and ensure effective intervention within the educational environment.
Our support includes in-class inclusive assistance, pull-out therapy sessions, psycho-educational assessments, classroom observations, and HIMMA Awareness Program to strengthen inclusion and early intervention practices. With collaborations spanning over 50 schools, we work closely with school inclusion departments to deliver structured, consistent, and impactful support for students.
