Awladouna Center for People of Determination is a therapeutic, rehabilitative
and educational institution for people of determination. The center was
established in 2002 with aim of providing educational and rehabilitation
opportunities and establishing the foundations for self-education for students.
The center works to provide counseling, social services, diagnose various
academic and psychological obstacles in addition to speech and language
disorders.

Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Developmental Disorder and Multiple

Special Education Services
• The center provides appropriate educational services to students at the
individual and group levels, according to their cognitive levels, based on
the results of the assessment of each student’s individual abilities.
• Implementing an individual educational plan (IEP) with short and long
term goals, specifying the standard for each goal.
• Conduct a developmental evaluation of the individual educational plan.
Rehabilitation services for language and speech disorder
• Awladouna Center provides assessment, diagnosis, and speech and
language therapy services for students who suffer from language and
speech disorders, language delays, speech defects, and various voice
defects, by developing an individual plan for each student after evaluating
and diagnosing the condition.
• The Department of Speech and Language uses several programs to
communicate with both verbal and non-verbal students according to their
needs. Among the most important programs and methods that are used
are:

Vocational Training
Awladouna Center provides training in vocational work through the Vocational
Rehabilitation Unit which includes sections for boys and girls, in which students
are enrolled from the age of 16 to 28 years old in order to train and qualify them
for social empowerment and professional employment after measuring their
professional inclinations and in accordance with their cognitive and physical
skills and abilities.
• The boys’ section includes the following vocational workshops :
